VEGAS.com to run Mexico site
VEGAS.com has entered into a joint venture with Mexico.com to run the site’s operations and marketing with the intention of bolstering tourism to Mexico.The new Mexico travel site launched March 31 and features air-hotel packages, hotels, cruises, tours and attractions and will provide expert content and advice for travelers.
More than 13 million U.S. travelers visited Mexico in 2007 according to Mexico’s Tourism Board.
“As a top leisure destination for Americans, we want to make sure that Mexico.com offers consumers the most fulfilling experience and accurate information,” said Howard Lefkowitz, VEGAS.com President. “We’re going to bring the expertise, technology and attention to the customer that we’ve mastered in Vegas to Mexico.com. And while this is a terrific opportunity for expansion, we’ll keep our focus squarely on the ball in Las Vegas as we work toward developing these new market opportunities within the multiple destination cities in Mexico.”

With spots ideal for families, golfers, honeymooners, divers, sunbathers and history buffs, Mexico as a destination attracts a wide array of travelers. Some of the more popular Mexico vacation destinations include Cancun, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Maya, Cabo San Lucas and Acapulco plus a range of other areas to explore.

VEGAS.com will take its superior local platform, technical expertise, marketing savvy and bilingual expertise running www.espanol.vegas.com and will apply it to Mexico.com’s platform and offerings, bringing a completely new online experience to visitors who are interested in traveling to Mexico.
