American Eagle adds new Mexican service

American Eagle Airlines is adding a daily nonstop flight
between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and General Francisco
Javier Mina International Airport in Tampico, Mexico.American Eagle will operate the service with 44-seat Embraer ERJ-140
jets.

  “We are pleased to be adding service to Tampico,” said Peter Bowler,
President and CEO of American Eagle Airlines. “This will be the eighth city
in Mexico that American Eagle will serve from DFW Airport.”

  “Nothing opens the door to new economic opportunity quite like a new
flight to a new destination,” said Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief. “We
congratulate American Eagle for continuing to build their impressive hub
operation at DFW, and for continuing to give North Texans the best
opportunities to expand our local markets and spark tourism and trade.”

  “The new international flights at DFW just keep coming. This is the
sixth this year,” said Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert. “American Eagle’s new
service to Tampico offers travelers even more new opportunities to reach
out and see the world.”
