Celebrity chef joins Gate Gourmet

Steven Walpole, a budding talent on the celebrity
chef scene, has joined Gate Gourmet as Senior Executive Chef to British Airways. Steven will bring his flair, passion and commitment to healthy eating to
Gate Gourmet’s BA first-class menus and will work with the company’s team

A familiar face on BBC UK Vood and Discovery Health, Steven hcs also
assisted on BBC Saturday Kitchen and has cooked at presticious venues
including Browns Hotel, The Lanesborough, The Waterside Restaurant at Bray,
The House of Commons and Llyods of London. He taught a group of Jamie
Oliver’s Fifteen students, regularly lectures on childhood obesity, runs
workshops on healthy eating for children and is consultant chef to the
charity HOPE. A recipient of many culinary awards, most recently Steve won
the 2007 Quality Food Award in the Bread Category.
