Hungarian Ramada set for 2008

The construction of the Ramada Plaza - Aquaworld complex in Hungary is proceeding as scheduled, and is set to open this time next year.This huge aquatic complex will boast 3300 square metres of water surface, 19 pools and one kilometre of slides. There will also be one of Europe’s only surfing pools, an ice cave and an aquatic kingdom for kids. The hotel will contain 309 rooms, including 48 apartments, 38 suites, 2 presidential suites and 5 rooms designed for those with disabilities. There will also be a conference and meetings centre for 900 people, including 14 rooms with the largest to seat 500 attendees, and a large-scale wellness and fitness centre, including beauty farm and squash courts. The project is costing HUF 17 billion (about £47 million) to construct.
