TravelConnect adds video content

Travel portal is adding a new video section which includes hundreds of short video clip guides on destinations throughout the world as well as travel news and travel tips. video players also give users access to Lonely Planet video travel guides, as well as additional content relating to global cuisine and books.

The launch of the video player opens up new ad-packages for advertisers on, too, as prior to watching video clips, users will be served a short 10-20 second pre-roll advertisement relevant to that video.
