First Muscat to London route launched

The first direct flights from Muscat, Oman will touch down at London Gatwick from 26 November 2007. Departing six times a week, the flights, which take just over seven hours, will cost from just GBP343 return and be available to economy and business travellers.

The fleet of Airbus A330 aircraft, each has a dedicated multilingual cabin crew, the latest in-flight entertainment with the choicest Arab, Asian and Western entertainment and delicious complimentary food and drink.

Oman Air strives for “old school’ first class quality of service, even when flying economy. Passengers travelling in business or first also benefit from state-of-the-art business lounges at Muscat and Gatwick airports.

All business and gold card passengers are able to take advantage of a complimentary limousine service to and from each airport.

Ziad Bin Karim Al Haremi Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air says: “We have launched this route to cater for the increased demand from a diverse group of travellers. We look forward to welcoming both business and leisure passengers from London, which will lead to increased commerce and tourism between the UK and the Sultanate of Oman.
