Nick Harwood has been promoted to the newly created role of Sales & Marketing Director for the Europcar and National Car Rental brands in the UK.
The role has been created following the Europcar Group’s acquisition of the business operating the National Car Rental brand which was completed earlier this year. In his new role, Nick reports to John Leigh, Managing Director.
Nick has been in the rental industry for more than 15 years, primarily focusing on the leisure sector. In his new role he takes on overall responsibility for UK Sales & Marketing activity to the corporate and leisure markets and has created a strong and expert team to support him achieve the company’s ambitious goals.
Key appointments include Lorraine Farnon as Sales Director for National with full responsibility for the brand’s Corporate sales activity; David McNeill as Corporate Sales Director for the Europcar brand; Yvonne Young as International Leisure Sales Manager for Europcar and Rebecca Madden, Corporate Marketing Director for both brands. There is however, a vacancy for a Consumer Marketing Director to drive awareness and sales for both the Europcar and National brands.
