Varig begins Mexico City sales

VRG Linhas Aéreas S.A., which operates the VARIG brand, has begun selling tickets for VARIG’s newest route, São Paulo - Mexico City.

“We are pleased to begin ticket sales to VARIG’s first destination in North America. Beginning December 10, VARIG will connect Brazil and Mexico, one of our country’s most important economic partners,” says Lincoln Amano, VARIG’s Commercial director.

“Through 2007, we will continue to expand throughout Latin America with flights to Montevideo, Uruguay and Santiago, Chile, and in Europe with flights to Madrid, Spain.” The Company currently offers international service to Bogotá, Buenos Aires and Caracas in South America, and Frankfurt, London, Paris and Rome in Europe.

The first flight to Mexico City will depart from São Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport at 11:00 am (local time), landing at the Mexican capital at 4:45 pm (local time). Return flights will depart from Mexico City’s Benito Juárez Airport at 6:45 pm (local time), arriving in São Paulo at 8:25 am (local time).

Tickets to Mexico City are available for purchase through VRG’s website (www.varig.com) and the Company’s call centers.
