Motivcom acquires Protravel

Motivcom has completed the acquisition of Protravel Limited and Protravel TB Limited. Protravel and TB specialise in providing travel and entertainment related promotions solutions to leading sales promotion agencies and FMCG brands. Their products and services include travel promotions, group travel and incentives, sports and hospitality packages, prizes for competitions and prizewinner management. Motivcom paid a cash consideration of £1,150,000 for the two businesses.

Protravel and TB will become part of the Travel & Leisure Promotions division of Motivcom’s subsidiary P&MM, already one of the leading suppliers of travel and leisure promotions and travel-related promotional products to the UK marketing industry.

Pro Travel and Pro Travel TB was established in 1983 and is run by Will Redfern. The company has 8 staff based at Ampthill, Bedfordshire.

David Lebond, executive director of Motivcom plc and responsible for the P&MM Travel & Leisure Promotions division commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity to strengthen our already powerful position in the sector by acquiring a well-established leading name in this market.
