Tiger plans Adelaide double

Tiger Airways Australia is to operate two flights a day between Adelaide and its home base of Melbourne. Tony Davis, CEO of Tiger Aviation, said, “Tiger’s announcement of low low fares to Adelaide will ensure that the same level of competition exists in the air as it does when the Crows or Port Adelaide play at the MCG.”

“For the first time travelers between the two states will get the real deal when it comes to flying. No longer will a getaway to the footy or a weekend away at a South Australian winery be out of reach for everyday Australians.

South Australia’s Deputy Premier the Hon Kevin Foley MP added, “I am absolutely delighted that Tiger has decided to fly to Adelaide. Increased aviation competition is vital for the growth of the South Australian economy and these flights in particular are a welcome boost to the tourism industry.”
