Air Partner unveils Swedish office
Air Partner has officially opened its first Scandinavian office in Sweden.. The operation is tactically located in the important and expanding business centre of Malmö to cover Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
Tony Mack, Chairman of the worldwide Air Partner Group, has accepted an invitation to meet with the Managing Director of Malmö‘s Trade and Industry Council, Björn Bergman, prior to ‘cutting the tape’ at the official launch reception.
Air Partner Sweden is managed by former Malmö aviation colleagues Andreas Wahlman and Charlotte Andersson. Their appointment is in keeping with the Group’s policy of engaging local professions with global aviation expertise, a hallmark of its continued success.
The reception tonight is for suppliers, clients and potential customers and will be held at the company’s offices, based in an historic building adjacent to one of the oldest in the city dating from 1534. Directors and managers from several of Air Partner’s European locations will be in attendance and representatives from its many business units will include Peter J¿rgensen, the Danish head of its luxury lifestyle division JetCard.
Air Partner’s investment in a North European operation, which started trading on August 1, comes at a time of significant strategic growth. This latest opening boosts the number of Air Partner outlets to 23 in 15 countries spanning Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.
Air Partner provides private aviation services to industry, commerce, governments and individuals worldwide using private and commercial aircraft and freight aircraft.
Kevin Ducksbury, Director of International Business Development, explained: “Air Partner’s new presence in Scandinavia enables the company to deliver its full range of private aviation products across the majority of Northern Europe. The Malmö team will offer charter solutions to all sectors, although its initial focus is on developing the commercial jets corporate group and incentive markets. The team is fully supported by the company’s 24/7 office-based operations centre at its London Gatwick headquarters, its global procurement capability and 250 experienced colleagues across the global network.”
