Free reflective snap wrap wristbands, exclusive savings on child car seats, and advice on winter driving are some of the offers in the Road Sense road safety campaign, launched today by leading car hire comparator

The company, which compares prices from over 40 leading rental companies including Budget and Opodo, is launching its campaign during Road Safety Week, the national campaign by road safety charity Brake.

“With stats showing that around nine people a day die on our roads, we want to help both drivers and pedestrians do more to protect themselves,” says Gareth Robinson, marketing director of  “The Road Sense campaign is all about offering advice, together with offers that could make a real difference to individual safety.

“We rent over 70,000 cars a year in the UK and overseas, but wherever our customers drive we want to do everything possible to ensure their safety.  Road Sense is designed to help achieve this, particularly with the dark nights and potentially treacherous driving conditions of winter now upon us.”


The Road Sense campaign includes free reflective ‘snap wrap’ wristbands available for children or adults across the UK; while special offers include a 20% discount on reflective items from Cyberglow; 15% off winter car kits from; and 15% off the RRP on leading brand child car seats from; plus a range of advice, facts and figures on safe driving.
