Scandinavian airline SAS accused aircraft maker Bombardier of spreading false information, blaming SAS for wrongdoing in relation to a recent accident with Bombardier’s Q400 model, reports Dagens Industri Thursday. “We have been subject to a campaign from Bombardier to create speculation around the accident. This is a very un-Scandinavian behavior,” said SAS spokesman Bertil Ternert.
On Oct. 27 SAS had an accident with a Q400 aircraft and Bombardier is, according to SAS, suggesting that the accident was due to poor maintenance by SAS.
Ternert said no conclusions have been reached on the matter by the Danish authority investigating the accident.
