KLM and Mondial Assistance are signing a global agreement to distribute travel insurance via KLM.com. The insurance is offered as part of the flight booking process and can also be booked separately.

Moreover, travel insurance is an important source of ancillary revenues.”

The Mondial Assistance e-MAGIN platform enables KLM to supply Travel Insurance in 60 countries across the world. KLM will initially offer it in the two largest markets, Netherlands and the United Kingdom, and intends to gradually roll it out to other markets.
