KLM and Mondial Assistance are signing a global agreement to distribute travel insurance via KLM.com. The insurance is offered as part of the flight booking process and can also be booked separately.

By integrating insurance in our flight booking process we are able to provide a relevant product in a convenient way. This will make KLM.com an even more attractive place to do business with KLM. Moreover, travel insurance is an important source of ancillary revenues.”

The Mondial Assistance e-MAGIN platform enables KLM to supply Travel Insurance in 60 countries across the world. KLM will initially offer it in the two largest markets, Netherlands and the United Kingdom, and intends to gradually roll it out to other markets.
