Meteoric rise for airBaltic traffic

The Latvian airline airBaltic carried 206,707 passengers in September 2007, or 40% more than in the same month in 2006, when airBaltic transported 147,361 passengers. During the nine months of 2007, airBaltic transported a total of 1 493,934 passengers, or 39% more than during the same period in 2006, when the total number of passengers was 1 074,110.

In September, airBaltic operated 3 412 flights, or 24% more than the 2,758 flights of September 2006. Between January and the end of September, the airline increased its number of flights by 25% over the same period in 2006 - up to 26,926 flights in total.

Cabin factor in September 2007 was at a level of 70%, or 7% points more than in September 2006. During the nine months of 2006 cabin factor was at a level of 64%, or 1% points more than during the same period in 2006.
