One&Only unveils kids cooking class

Aspiring child chefs can learn from the masters with KidsOnly cooking
classes recently
introduced at One&Only Reethi Rah.Hosted by the celebrated Chefs de
Quisine,
the new program offers child workshops in sushi rolling, Moroccan
cuisine and pastry
making.

Offered three times a week in different locations throughout the resort,
the new
culinary curriculum is available to all KidsOnly participants aged
between 4 and
11 at no charge. After each class the children, outfitted in mini chef
hats and
aprons, are awarded a certificate of participation signed by the chef,
along with
the recipes to take home and replicate. The cooking curriculum is a new
addition
to the activities already available for children through the KidsOnly
program at
both One&Only Reethi Rah and One&Only Ocean Club.

Sushi Rolling

Every Monday child guests of One&Only Reethi Rah are encouraged to learn
the
art of rolling sushi with Japanese Chef, Norimasa Kosaka. The class,
hosted in
Tapasake, an over-water restaurant on the western tip of the island,
boasts a granite
and mirror-polished stainless steel sushi bar overlooking the Indian
Ocean.

Moroccan Cuisine

Every Wednesday KidsOnly participants can be found learning how to
prepare Arabic
inspired cuisine with Moroccan Chef, Younes Trini, in One&Only Reethi
Rah’s
exotic outdoor beach bar and restaurant, Fanditha.  Utilizing the
outdoor barbecue
kitchen and its Iranian bread baking oven, Younes instructs children on
the art
of making authentic pita bread.

Pastry Workshop

Every Friday, children with a sweet tooth can be found in the Reethi
Restaurant
pastry kitchen where Executive Pastry Chef Karim Khouani shares his
cookie and cake
recipes.

The KidsOnly program is available at all One&Only resorts worldwide.
Activities
are designed for three different age groups and can range from swimming,
snorkeling
and beach volleyball to tennis, treasure hunts, drama workshops and
excursions
including
trips to the spa.
