UK inbound gets online taxi service

Visitors to and around Britain will soon be able to book taxi journeys online at and

taxi in the UK and the new service, provided by Where2Guv, offers a safe, reliable,
door-to-door service, ideal for getting quickly from the airport to accommodation -
wherever it is in the UK.

National tourism agency, VisitBritain has partnered with Where2Guv to launch the new
service, which can also be used by domestic visitors in England. Currently available
on VisitBritain’s domestic online shop,, users of VisitBritain’s award-winning
domestic and global websites will also be able to book their journey in both the
“book and buy” and “travel and transport” sections of the websites and get an
immediate confirmation and reference number.

Where2Guv’s online centralised system is the only UK nationwide service covering
every postcode, airport, train station and sea port. The company works only with
quality taxi and executive fleets, private hire companies and London’s major black
cab companies - all of which are licensed by local authorities across the UK. It
will eventually offer pick up and drop off at events and attractions as well as
multiple languages.
