Rugby fans flock to Paris

12th Oct 2007

Flybe has said it will move thousands of English rugby fans over the
next three days as they head to Paris hoping to see Vickery’s men fly to victory in the
Rugby World Cup semi finals.Mike Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer Flybe comments: “We saw a steep
rise in bookings when fixtures were announced earlier this year, however
following England’s increasingly impressive performance during the group
stages, sales have simply gone through the roof and sold out quickly!”

He continues: “Flybe’s combination of convenient departure points and
low cost fares have proved a huge hit with the fans who will be
travelling with us in their thousands from our regional departure points
across the UK. We wish Phil Vickery and the whole England rugby team all
the best on Saturday evening - we’re behind them all the way!”
