Hanoi hotel boosts last minute bookings

Hanoi Horison Hotel has identified an innovative solution to increase last minute room sales through electronic information sharing.

It currently posts updates on room rates and availability on the booking engine of Swiss International Hotels (www.sih.ch), a Swiss-based hotel marketing group.

Indo China Services (ICS), an established Bangkok-based destination management company, has access to this information which it transmits to its worldwide sales channels via its new online rapid response service

Hanoi Horison Hotel General Manager Mr. Christoph Voegeli explained:

“In the highly competitive and demand-driven Hanoi hotel market, wholesalers often find it difficult to secure rooms, because of traditional room allotments and booking-release methods. We are very excited and have high expectations that this interface will enable ICS to sell rooms at our hotel which become available at the last minute.”


He added that the Hanoi Horison Hotel, managed by Swiss-Belhotel International (with over 25 properties in Asia, Pacific and Middle East) looks forward to further intensifying cooperation with SIH and ICS.
