SAS plans to deploy the first of it’s troubled Q400 aircraft on Thursday, October 4th, with
the remaining Q400 aircraft returning to operation during the following
days.Deployment of the Q400 will thus occur successively, resulting in
further cancelations during week 40. These cancelations are listed on SAS’s
www.sas.dk and www.sas.se websites.

The aircraft are undergoing a number of extra inspections that SAS has
chosen to perform in addition to the replacements and inspections
prescribed by the authorities and manufacturer. The first aircraft are
ready for test-flights that will take place in the next few days.
