Wayn develops desktop application

WAYN.com (Where Are You Now?) is launching it’s new product ‘WAYN Desktop’ which is an easily downloadable application allowing users to manage their photos and get instant alerts to update them on their account.
The software application, which is still in beta phase, will provide WAYN’s 9 million members with a state-of-the-art photo upload tool which synchronises with the user’s WAYN account to allow for fast and simple photo uploading. With unlimited photo and video storage available to WAYN members, users are now able to utilize WAYN desktop as their main photo storage facility both on their desktop and on the site. Users can edit, name and tag their photos plus connect them to specific trips or albums.

This initiative puts WAYN.com amongst the few social networking services that has developed a downloadable desktop application to compliment its online offerings, which include the ability to log trips, see who is where and make new friends, as well as many other trip planning and communication tools.

Co-founder and Co-CEO of WAYN.com, Jerome Touze commented ‘We’re excited to be launching WAYN Desktop as a free service to all our members. This follows feedback from our members who said they would like to store all of their photos in one place plus get account alerts in a few easy steps without having to spend all day doing it. Now all WAYN members can share their memorable experiences online in a few simple steps whilst also keeping up to date with their account.’

WAYN Desktop can be downloaded for free after registering or logging on to www.wayn.com and selecting the “tools” option within “Club”.
