Travel Channel International, which has increased its distribution worldwide during the past year by more than 96%, has become one of World Travel Market’s official Travel Broadcast Partners.
The go ahead consumer travel TV channel, now available across Europe, Middle East and Africa, is producing a 30-minute programme from World Travel Market, repeated fifteen times in November and December. The station is also producing the spectacular prize presentation of WTM’s Passport Competition at WTM’s Conference Set on Thursday 15 November, part of the Travel Agents Day of interactive training, skills and product knowledge.

“Travel Channel International has seen remarkable growth and enjoys a hugely significant and influential audience with 85% of viewers regularly travelling overseas for business and pleasure.
“It offers another important mechanism for our exhibitors to communicate messages to an expanding global audience.
“Travel Channel will be reporting from World Travel Market on the decisions that affect consumers and their holidays, and finding out how the industry’s movers and shakers are responding to the challenge of greener travel.”
Travel Channel’s CEO, Richard Wolfe said the station’s new Travel Broadcast Partner status with World Travel Market was a reflection of the growing relationship, cemented over the past few years.
“Travel Channel is now the largest pan-European TV channel dedicated to the world of travel, broadcasting in 14 languages to over 116 countries, ” he said. “Like World Travel Market, we present a panoramic and objective perspective on the international travel and tourism industry, everything from trekking adventures to five-star luxury”.
