EMIRATES HOLIDAYS STRENGTHENS OPERATIONS
WITH NEW APPOINTMENT

Emirates Holidays has appointed UAE national Dina Al Herais to the newly-created position of Vice President Commercial Operations. The appointment, effective immediately, is to drive the division’s global distribution and revenue growth plan.

Al Herais will assume responsibility for all Emirates Holidays current Commercial Operations in source markets in Europe, C.I.S countries, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Among her immediate priorities would be the strengthening of relationships with travel trade partners, boosting sales, negotiating and implementing enhanced distribution channels.

Al Herais has built up a strong set of credentials in Commercial Operations, joining Emirates as a trainee in 1994, and subsequently working at the airline’s outstation offices in South Africa, Tanzania, Cyprus, Egypt, and more recently as Area Manager in Jordan. She is credited with consistently achieving double-digit year-on-year revenue growth in her previous assignments.

Emirates Holidays’ Senior Vice President, John Felix said: “Emirates Holidays is extending its global reach and entering new markets. This is the right time for Dina Al Herais, who comes with a proven track record in commercial operations and revenue optimization, to join the department and provide dedicated leadership and management in implementing the distribution and revenue growth plan. I am confident her strong direction to regional commercial units will increase the momentum for Emirates Holidays to achieve its commercial targets”.
