Sentient promotes Hankin to CEO

Sentient Flight Group has announced that President and Chief Operating Officer Steven Hankin has been named Chief Executive Officer responsible for all day to day operations of the company, effective immediately.Current CEO Greg Campbell will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors and continue to focus on Sentient Flight Group’s overall corporate strategy and drive the company’s acquisition program. Prior to his role as CEO of Sentient Flight Group, Campbell was CEO of JetDirect Aviation, where he led the company’s rollup strategy, culminating in the April 2007 formation of the Sentient Flight Group through the merger of JetDirect Aviation and Sentient Jet.

“During the past few months, Steven has successfully led the integration of two leading private aviation companies, creating a national powerhouse with the operational base and breadth of capabilities that have reset the bar for exceptional customer service and safety in our industry,” said Campbell. “His proven leadership ability combined with his operational expertise and strategic vision makes Steven the right person to lead Sentient Flight Group day to day through its next stage of organic growth.”

Hankin has been President and COO of the Sentient Flight Group since April 2007. Prior to the formation of Sentient Flight Group he was CEO of Sentient Jet, where he oversaw the company’s growth, tripling in size in just over two years.
