Thomas Cook UK, Ireland CEO steps down

John Bloodworth has resigned as Chief Executive of the UK and Ireland operation, Thomas Cook, with immediate effect and will leave the board in December.

Bloodworth will step down from the board on December 31, due to ‘a difference in management approach’ and he will be assisting with the integration of MyTravel with the company and with other projects until March 31, 2008 According to the company.

According to Thomas Cook, the joint Chief Executive Manny Fontenla-Novoa will head the unit while they search for a new CEO.
