ATA backs Krakowski appojntment

The Air Transport Association of America has issued a statement applauding the Federal Aviation Administration announcement of
Captain Henry P. (Hank) Krakowski being named Chief Operating Officer of the FAA air traffic organization.It reads: “Hank is an outstanding leader who has earned the deepest respect of his
colleagues. His proven talent as the top operations executive for United
Airlines, a commercial airline pilot and an esteemed industry safety
authority will serve our nation well as he assumes his new
responsibilities as the FAA’s chief operating officer,” said Air
Transport Association President and Chief Executive Officer James C.
