Silverjet launches Dubai route

Silverjet is planning to roll out a new route to Dubai from its base at London Luton in November.
The all business class airline, which has won 4 key awards in its first 7 months of service,  will be the first commercial airline to use Dubai’s private executive terminal.

The new route launch comes on the heals of an announcement that Silverjet will begin its second daily service to New York Newark on 23 September 2007.

Commenting, Lawrence Hunt, Chief Executive Officer of Silverjet, said:

“We are delighted to announce our new route to Dubai from our base at London
Luton which will commence operations in November this year. The daily service takes
advantage of the huge growth in travel between the UK and Dubai and will offer the
same exceptional customer experience as our transatlantic offering. Silverjet will
be the first commercial airline to use Dubai’s private executive terminal and the
first exclusively business class airline to fly to a non-transatlantic destination.

“We are evaluating options for further new routes and aircraft and believe that the
Silverjet product and customer experience is well positioned for exploitation in
different markets. We are very well placed to develop and grow in this environment
as we build on the successes delivered to date, and the board looks forward to the
future with great confidence.”
