China controls register of new airlines

China encourages non-state investment in its aviation field, although it has suspended applications for setting up airline companies, said Gao Hongfeng, deputy director of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). China’s civil aviation sector has grown at double-digit speed in recent years.
