OzLeisure unveils route planner

6th Sep 2007

OzLeisure.com.au have launched a new version of their site, incorporating a route planner powered by Google TM Maps technology which allows travellers to plan a route across Australia while showing leisure activities, events and exhibitions along the way.
The new route planner shows turn-by-turn driving directions between up to 25 points, allowing travellers to plan a holiday in Australia that includes a multitude of varied activities all taken from the OzLeisure.com.au database. As well as the expected places to eat and sleep, there are galleries, sky diving schools, and everything in between. Even pub crawls.
Mike Sussex, Technical Director for OzLeisure.com.au said today, “Travelling to and from your holiday destination is normally considered the boring part of any holiday. With our route planner we are able to show that there are heaps of activities and things to see and do along the way, and it’s a great chance for travellers to learn about, and experience things they would normally drive straight past.”
