iBAHN acquires ETV Interactive

iBAHN is acquiring ETV Interactive, a world leader in single cable digital
TV, entertainment and communications systems for the hospitality
industry.

The acquisition of ETV Interactive brings together a major broadband
provider in the hospitality industry and a digital entertainment
provider - who together can offer a full suite of converged network
solutions. This strategically positions iBAHN as a leader in
entertainment for the global hospitality market, as the only worldwide
provider to combine quality LAN and WAN connectivity for guests, with
proven digital video expertise.

Following the completion of the acquisition, iBAHN is focused on
blending digital content with plans to manage, distribute and broadcast
Video on Demand (VOD) media efficiently over its secure network.

Graeme Powell, senior vice president, corporate development and finance
EMEA, iBAHN, comments: “The completion of the ETV Interactive
acquisition is truly a milestone for iBAHN. We strongly believe that
interactive digital IP services will be critical to business travellers
in the future, and by combining this with our HSIA services, iBAHN will
be able to offer hoteliers an all-digital and more cost effective
solution for the hotel room.”

Steven Morris, CEO and founder of ETV Interactive, comments: “Over the
last nine years ETV Interactive has been building a blend of
cutting-edge technology and feature functionality to provide hotel
guests with an unrivaled digital entertainment suite. We share iBAHN’s
vision for the development of the hospitality industry and this deal
will allow us to accelerate our service offering as part of iBAHN’s
worldwide network.”

ETV Interactive has served the hospitality industry as a one-stop shop
delivering a complete solution including: Digital TV; Radio, Video and
Music on-demand; Integrated wired/WiFi roaming broadband access; TV
Internet and Email, plus business center solutions - all distributed
over a single wire.

As a result of the signed deal, which was first previewed at HITEC 2007
US tradeshow in June, iBAHN, in conjunction with ETV Interactive, now
offers services in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.  iBAHN will
work with ETV Interactive to launch a service in the U.S. in 2008.
