Austrian links Australia with Qantas

Austrian Airlines has launched new fares between Australia and Europe via Tokyo thanks to its new cooperation with Qantas. The introduction of the flight means Austrian Airlines now provides an alternative to its already popular route via Bangkok from Australia.

To celebrate the launch of the new route, Austrian Airlines has released a Red Ticket special; with return fare’s starting from A$1470, (excluding taxes and surcharges). Free stopovers in Tokyo and Vienna are permitted in both directions and travel is valid from 13 October until 31 March 2008.

Austrian Airlines operates services from Tokyo to Vienna 6 times a week, where the Vienna hub provides connections to over 90 destinations in Europe.

The flights will be operated with Boeing 777«s and all aircraft are equipped with individual in-flight entertainment systems.
