Continental alters schedule for hurricane

Continental Airlines is operating its normal flight schedule to Cancun and Merida, Mexico today as it continues to closely monitor Hurricane Dean. Flights to Belize City are canceled due to the airport closure. The first flight to Cozumel is also canceled due to airport conditions, yet the airline will operate its second flight to Cozumel.

Continental is providing ticketing flexibility for customers whose travel plans may be affected by Hurricane Dean. Customers who have immediate travel plans to the region may reschedule or reroute travel once, without a penalty. A complete list of cities and details of the re-accommodation policy are available at continental.com.

The fastest and most convenient way to change travel plans is via continental.com > “Hurricane Dean travel notices.” Customers need to enter their confirmation number and last name in “Manage Reservations.”
