Nod for new airport in Malaysia

The Perak government is planning to build a new US$100 million airport in Malaysia, which will have direct air links with other regional airports.

Tajol Rosli, The chief minister of Perak state is aiming to tap into the package tour market.

He commented: “Tour agencies can arrange vacation package tours to include intra city tours and other well-known attractions.”
The new airport, which will be located in Seri Iskandar, would also allow other townships including the state’s holiday island, Pangkor island, to draw visitors to the state, according to Tajol.
