Viva Macau Sydney flights blocked

Viva Macau has been forced to postpone its direct services to Sydney with the services initially scheduled to commence this week.A revised commencement date of the thrice-weekly service has not yet been confirmed.

Con Korfiatis, the airline’s Chief Executive said, “We are greatly disappointed with the last-minute unforeseen postponement, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused our customers.”

“However, we expect only a small number of flights will be affected until we have received the final approval.”

In an attempt to minimize the inconvenience to affected passengers, both in Macau and Sydney. Affected passengers will be offered either:

1) A full refund on the total amount of air ticket(s) purchased, or
2) Viva Macau will arrange another flight with another airline via Hong Kong or on a replacement aircraft on a similar schedule, or
3) Re-book on a future Viva Macau flight.

In addition to this, Viva Macau is also offering each affected passenger a free return ticket to any of Viva Macau’s scheduled destinations, redeemable within twelve months.
