Korean Air sued by US over price fixing

Korean Air said that it was sued in the United States by passengers who claim it illegally conspired with competitors to fix pricing for cargo and passenger flights between the U.S. and South Korea. The class action lawsuit filed on behalf of passengers on August 8 by a Seattle-based law firm, Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro, came just a few weeks after the U.S. Justice Department levied a US$300 million fine on the airline on price-fixing charges.

Korean Air agreed to the fine.
