Six Senses appoints new management

Six Senses Resorts & Spas is announcing new management roles. Godfrey Vas is the new GM at the Evason Hideaway & Six Senses Spa at Ana Mandara.
Godfrey Vas has been promoted to the role of general manager of
Evason Hideaway at Ana Mandara in Vietnam from his previous position of
Resort Manager of Evason Hideaway at Hua Hin in Thailand.

Prior to this
posting, Godfrey also held the position of Resort Manager at Six Senses
flagship property, Soneva Fushi in the Maldives. In his new role he will
direct and coordinate the day-to-day operation with across the board
responsibilities to all matters that relate to the Evason Hideaway at
Ana Mandara.

Prior to joining Six Senses, Godfrey had a two year tenure at Parrot Cay
Resort and Spa in the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean, where
he oversaw resort operations and ensured guest satisfaction. Prior to
that, he spent five-years with Le Meridien in Port Villa, Vanuatu,
preceded by a five-year stint with Le Meridien in Melbourne Australia,
the city of which he is a native.

 

Godfrey speaks Hindi and conversational Arabic, in addition to his
English mother tongue, and brings with him over 15 years experience in
the hospitality industry.

Kendra Redman - Corporate Learning and Development Director. Kendra
Redman has joined Six Senses Resorts & Spas to oversee the development
and implementation of corporate learning and development programs
throughout the Six Senses group. The position will work closely with the
resort human resource teams - advising on managements issues including
staffing, project implementation and resource utilization.

 

Prior to joining Six Senses, Kendra, a U.S. National, held training
positions with U.S. companies including designing and implementing
training for internal staff and customers.  Her background also includes
positions with hospitality companies and schools.

 

She is looking forward to assisting each and every host to achieve
personal success and fulfillment with Six Senses.
