American Eagle plans Flint service

American Eagle will add a nonstop service
between LaGuardia International Airport and Bishop International
Airport in Flint, Mich. beginning November.American Eagle will operate round-trip service between the two cities
using 37-seat Embraer ERJ-135 jets.
  “We are proud to be able to provide this new service to Flint,” said
American Eagle President and CEO Peter Bowler. “These flights are timed to
better serve our business customers during the weekday. With service to
Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth and New York, our customers will be able to
connect to anywhere in the world that American Airlines flies.”
  “Our community has been knocking down doors asking for direct service
to New York, and our partner, American Eagle, has delivered,” said Jim
Rice, Airport Director of Bishop International Airport. “We couldn’t be
happier. Successful air service development only happens when you have
tremendous community support. With the strength of Southeastern Michigan
behind us, this service to La Guardia will be just as successful as
American Eagle’s other services from Flint.”
