Egypt is not only the legendary home of Cleopatra and Julius Ceasar, it

soon guests will follow in the footsteps of greatness with the opening

‘I am very proud to announce the opening of this stunning 118-room Hotel
in the renowned San Stefano district of the City overlooking the
Mediterranean. Rising from the once fabled San Stefano Hotel, Egypt’s
oldest establishment of hospitality, Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria
rekindles San Stefano’s days of glamour and glory. But more than this,
its opening marks a new era in tourism for the city which dates back to
331 BC when Alexander the Great founded this historic place. These are
very exciting times for Alexandria and for Four Seasons, and I feel
privileged to be part of this process,’ said Stephan Killinger, General
Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano.

Most guest rooms feature private balconies, offering panoramic vistas of
the Sea or the glittering city. The rooms and suites set a new benchmark
for quality and spaciousness in Alexandria: elegantly decorated in
various combinations of greens and blues against a creamy yellow
background, the colour scheme reflects a classic European design with a
touch of Mediterranean warmth and freshness.

Designed by Pierre Yves Rochon, the rooms’ and suites’ chic decor are
enhanced by traditional Egyptian accents and spacious Roman-style marble
bathrooms. Varying in size, the deluxe accommodation offers supreme
comfort for living, working and gracious entertainment.

‘This property is a fine addition to the Four Seasons portfolio in the
Middle East, which currently boasts two Hotels in Cairo, one in Sharm El
Sheikh, Amman, Damascus, Doha, Riyadh and a Golf Club in Dubai. We think
that Four Seasons Alexandria lends a new dimension to the group and will
encourage even more people in the region to make Four Seasons their
Hotel company of choice,’ he added.

bedside allow business people to remain in contact with their offices -
a facility which is backed up by the Hotel’s 24 hour Business Centre.

meaning and ice cream delights can be enjoyed. In between, guests can
enjoy authentic Italian cuisine at Stefano’s, Mediterranean delights at

all-day dining features live entertainment from the afternoon through to
late evening while Le Bar sways to the rhythm of live jazz nightly.

‘The team at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria has worked incredibly hard to
bring this project to fruition, and now everyone is looking forward to
welcoming our first guests and giving them a taste of true Four Seasons
hospitality,’ continued Killinger.

and conference facilities to Egypt’s Mediterranean coastline, with five

particularly large celebrations such as weddings.

for the city. From its luxurious surrounds, visitors can explore the
sights, sounds and experiences of Alexandria, which is known as The
