United unveils new business class bed

26th Jul 2007

United Airlines’ revamped international United Business cabin will feature a new seat that reclines to a 180, 6-foot 4-inch lie-flat bed. After the modification is finished in late 2009, passengers can expect consistent lie-flat seating in United First and United Business across the airline’s international fleet of widebody B767, B747 and B777 planes.

The new international United Business seat adjusts to a wide range of positions, with each seat offering audio and video on-demand and a video screen for viewing over 150 hours of movies and TV programs.
