Continental plans Oklahoma offering

Continental Airlines has announced new nonstop service between the airline’s Cleveland hub and Oklahoma City’s Will Rogers World Airport beginning September.The daily service, operated with 50-seat Embraer 145 regional jet aircraft, will provide connections via Cleveland to dozens of other cities. Continental’s Cleveland hub offers 240 daily departures to more than 80 destinations.
“This new air service by Continental Airlines will offer a new destination for passengers who travel through Will Rogers World Airport,” said Mark Kranenburg, Director, Oklahoma City Department of Airports. “We celebrate this new service with Continental Airlines and are appreciative of their support of the Oklahoma City market.”

“Our new service will make travel between Oklahoma City and Cleveland easier for business and leisure customers while increasing service options for Oklahomans to travel to the Northeast,” said a Continental spokesperson.
