Silverjet, the business class, long haul airline is to delay the introduction of its second service between London Luton and New York, Newark due to technical issues. Silverjet said it would delay the start of its second service between London Luton and New York Newark until Sept 20.

A routine check on the jet has identified the need for additional maintenance work.

‘A further announcement concerning the start of this second flight will be made in due course,’ it said in a statement.
