Expedia expands Hertz deal

Expedia has expanded its strategic partnership with The Hertz Corporation with a multi-year agreement to offer Hertz rentals across Expedia-branded points of sale in Europe. This partnership comes on the heels of Hertz’s decision to renew its participation in Expedia’s Preferred Rental Car Program on Expedia.com and Expedia.ca.

Through this expanded agreement across continents, Hertz can continue to build a global customer base by enhancing its online presence and reaching more than 36 million unique visitors per month across Expedia sites in North America and Europe.

For the first time, Expedia will this year be able to offer its customers in Europe the complete range of Hertz cars through its European sites in the UK, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
