Malev appoints new CEO

Hungarian airline Malev informed MTI on Thursday that Lloyd Paxton has replaced Janos Gonci as CEO of the airline on Thursday.
Mr Paxton worked for British Airways for 35 years in various consultant and management positions and also served as the president CEO of the Kazakh national airlines Air Astana, according to the Malev statement.

Mr Gonci left his position at Malev based on mutual consent and will continue to serve as a member of the airline’s board of directors, according to the statement.
