Orbitz makes key appointments

Orbitz Worldwide have appointed two new members
of its senior leadership team. Marsha Williams joins the company as senior
vice president and chief financial officer. Jim Shaughnessy has joined as
senior vice president and general counsel for the organization.
  Both Williams and Shaughnessy will report to Steven Barnhart, CEO and
president of Orbitz Worldwide.

president of Orbitz Worldwide, a division of Travelport, Ltd. “Marsha and
Jim bring to our management team significant experience running global
public companies. As Orbitz Worldwide continues its evolution as a global
company, our employees, customers, partners and investors will benefit from
their experience, strategies and insights. We look forward to their many
contributions to Orbitz Worldwide’s future growth.”
  With over 35 years of experience in finance, Marsha Williams, 56, will
oversee the organization’s finance, accounting and investor relations
activities. Prior to Orbitz Worldwide, she was executive vice president and
chief financial officer of Equity Office Properties, one of the nation’s
largest publicly held office building owners and managers prior to its
purchase by the Blackstone Group in 2007. Additionally, Williams was the
chief administrative officer for Crate & Barrel, and has held senior
finance positions at Amoco Corporation and Carson Pirie Scott & Company, as
well as being the current member of various boards and associations.
Williams has a master’s degree from the University of Chicago Graduate
School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wellesley
College, Wellesley, Massachusetts.
  Jim Shaughnessy, age 52, will oversee the legal and regulatory matters
that impact the Orbitz Worldwide business and its global portfolio of
brands. Shaughnessy has more than 25 years of experience as a strategic
legal executive handling legal matters for leading technology companies,
including Lenovo Group Ltd., Peoplesoft, Hewlett Packard and Compaq. Jim
earned his master of public policy and Juris Doctor,*censored*laude from the
University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree, summa*censored*laude from
Northern Michigan University.
