The Park Hotels - the first collection of luxury boutique hotels in India - has appointed ITG Sales & Marketing to handle its sales, marketing and representation in the UK. This is the hotel group’s second marketing tie-up in the UK, after Design Hotels. ITG’s brief includes encouraging more visitors from the corporate, leisure and MICE markets to India.
The Park Hotels consists of six hotels with over 800 rooms in key business locations in Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, New Delhi and Visakhapatnam. A new 80-bedroom hotel opened in Navi Mumbai in February 2007. Unusual design elements inspired by the city, attention to luxurious comfort and several special touches make The Park Hotels a refreshing and natural choice for anyone looking for an inspiring city centre location with easy access to key commercial and leisure districts. The Park Hotels is part of Apeejay Surrendra Hotels. The hotels have achieved global standards of product quality and service excellence over 39 years of industry experience.
The Park Hotels in Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and New Delhi are members of Design Hotels. Design Hotels has been marketing The Park Hotels in Europe and UK for 4 years now. This additional tie-up with ITG will help in consolidating the marketing force in the UK for the hotel group.
Speaking about the new partnership, Mr. Vijay Dewan, Managing Director, The Park Hotels, India says, “The Park Hotels has been marketed by Design Hotels in Europe and UK till now. With the partnership of ITG in the UK, we are extending our reach deeper into the market and strengthening our marketing force. We believe this combination will work in the competitive UK market.”
Mr. Noshir A Marfatia, The Park Hotels General Manager Sales & Marketing, comments: “The Park Hotels group has seen considerable investment in the last few years to create India’s first collection of luxury boutique hotels. We feel that now is the time to invest in informing the UK market about our product and our points of differentiation from hotels offering more ‘traditional heritage-style’ accommodation.”
The Park Hotels aims to appeal to travellers looking for contemporary accommodation in individually designed hotels - the interior of The Park Hotel in Bangalore was designed by Conran and Partners in the UK.
