Delta Air Lines is continuing its rapid expansion in the Caribbean with a new route between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and the island of Curacao, effective Dec. 22, 2007. Curacao, located in the Netherlands Antilles off the coast of Venezuela, is best known for crystal clear waters, long sandy beaches and picture-perfect weather.
“Delta is proud to be the fastest growing airline to the Caribbean - now with more than ten destinations added in the last two years,” said Glen Hauenstein, Delta’s executive vice president of Network Planning and Revenue Management. “Our global customers continue to benefit from the central location and convenience of world’s largest airline hub in Atlanta, which has become a preferred gateway to the islands and business centers of the Caribbean.”
Delta’s new seasonal flights will operate Saturdays only, effective Dec. 22. The flights are now available for sale at delta.com and via other ticketing channels.
