SideStep has announced Tim Simmonds as its new Director of Business Development. Simmonds will be responsible for all distribution partnerships as well as maintaining and developing SideStep’s relationships with European based package holiday suppliers and hotels.
Prior to joining SideStep, Simmonds spent over 6 years at lastminute.com where his roles included Holidays and Cruise Manager, International Business Development Manager and latterly Head of White labels. Upon leaving Simmonds was responsible for the white label business stream at lastminute.com which supported over 60 partnerships across 12 countries.
Simmonds’ previous roles within the travel industry also include EMEA Sales Manager at Marriot International and Sales Manager at Group Promotions Ltd.
Simmonds studied at the University of Coventry and is fluent in French.

Tim joins existing SideStep European Business Development Director, Rhys Jarvis, who was appointed in April with responsibility for airline and advertising relationships.
