Marriott opens major Paris hotel

The Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel and Conference Centre has officially opened its doors to the public, following a major refurbishment which included the adoption of a range of hotel and guest services provided by Quadriga.

After London and Rome, the new Paris hotel is the largest integrated Marriott hotel and convention centre in Europe and with 706 rooms and 51 suites, it offers the largest hotel-event space in the city.

All rooms and suites are equipped with Quadriga’s state of the art Genesis solution which offers guests movies and music-on-demand, featuring the latest blockbuster movies and popular music selections as well as access to the Internet from the TV.  To further enhance the overall guest experience and room aesthetics each room will be equipped with 26 inch LCD flat-screen displays from Philips whilst suites will feature the larger 32 inch LCD flat-screen display.

Genesis provides hotels with a powerful and unique sales and marketing tool.  Via a new internet service, Web Promotions, the Paris Marriott Rive Gauche will integrate its own website content into the Genesis main menu on the TV enabling it to promote its hotel services and Marriott Reward loyalty scheme directly to each guest in the comfort of their room.  In addition, each TV features a Marriott customised background allowing the hotel to promote its business brand to guests and deliver a consistent and impactful brand experience right through to the TV in the room.

Quadriga, the leading provider of state-of-the-art digital-IP based technology for the hotel industry in Europe and the Middle East, has been the sole preferred and recommended supplier to Marriott International since January 2006, and will deliver services to more than 18,000 rooms in over 80 properties within the next 3 years.  In addition to new service revenue opportunities each hotel benefits from the confidence and assurance afforded by a superior level of customer service.  Unique to Quadriga, the Network Operating Centre (NOC) monitors the service for each hotel across the entire digital-IP based network, providing real-time proactive monitoring and diagnostics.
