Ten spas sign up to Starwood collection

Ten additional properties have joined The Starwood Spa Collection, one of the world’s largest collections of premier spas. The Starwood Spa Collection comprises of more than 50 hotels and resorts from all corners of the globe that are renowned for their incomparable service, luxurious treatments and unwavering standards of excellence. Le Méridien Lav, Split Croatia; Hotel Schloss Fuschl, Austria; Sheraton Salobre Golf Resort & Spa, Canary Islands and Le Royal Méridien Beach Dubai are some of the new spas to join the Starwood Spa Collection this year, representing an impressive 40% growth in its award-winning portfolio of spas.

The spas that are now part of the collection include:

? The Grosvenor House, Dubai - Retreat Health & Spa is set in a modern, informal environment with Rasul, Cleopatra Bath, Jacuzzi, steam, sauna and personal grooming saloons.

? Sheraton Sharm El Sheikh Spa, Egypt - a water lover’s dream, with a waterfall in the lobby, elevating water therapy to satisfying heights.


? Le Méridien Lav, Split, Croatia -themed around Roman baths with spectacular sea views, with all the modern comforts of the 21st century.

? Le Méridien lle Maurice, Mauritius - with a range of exotic Asian spa treatments, specialising in Ayurveda.

? Le Méridien St Julians, Malta - A Balinese style spa harmoniously combining the best of the world’s great cultures - Nordic, Mediterranean, Oriental and Asian.

? Hotel Marqués de Riscal, Spain - The treatments combine the virtues of warm water with wine, grape and grape seed extracts from the surrounding vineyards.

? Hotel Schloss Fuschl, Austria - composed in Art Deco elegance, the glass façade of the spa affords a seamless view of enchanting Lake Fuschlsee.

? Sheraton Fota Island Hotel & Spa, Cork - lies deep within one of the most dramatic and outstanding natural settings on the Irish Coast.

? Sheraton Salobre Golf Resort & Spa, Canary Islands - designed as a monument to aloe, the most beneficial plant indigenous to the Canarias.
