Delta Air Lines customers worldwide can now book car rentals, hotel accommodations, trip activities and travel insurance, in addition their flight, all in one transaction on delta.com. “We’re constantly adding features to delta.com to make travel planning easy for our customers,” said Josh Weiss, Delta’s managing director of delta.com.
“No other U.S. airline has integrated all of these pieces into a single online transaction. Now our customers can book and buy flight, hotel, car rental and destination options all at one time on delta.com.”
Delta’s online customers worldwide may now:
— Take advantage of special rates when booking hotel accommodations
and car rentals with Delta’s SkyMiles partners.
— Purchase trip activities and services, including Crown Room Club
passes, airport parking, shuttle services, city tours and
attractions, and more.
— Purchase travel insurance from Access America to cover travel
changes due to illness, bad weather and other unforeseen
circumstances that might affect a customer’s itinerary.
The enhanced functionality at delta.com enables customers to access special mileage bonuses via Delta’s vast partner network, including preferred partnerships with Avis Rent A Car, Budget Rent A Car and the Hilton Family of Hotels. When booking, customers can also contribute toward the offset of carbon emissions associated with air travel through a donation to The Conservation Fund, a leading environmental nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting land and water resources.
